Our Mission

“BLK Girl Space is dedicated to supporting Black women in nurturing their mental and emotional well-being through mental and holistic healing practices. We provide safe, empowering spaces for women to connect, grow, and develop self-awareness, effective communication, and accountability. Through community-centered initiatives, we aim to foster personal transformation and strengthen relationships with self and others.”

Our Vision

“Our vision is to be a leading sanctuary for Black women, where holistic healing and community support empower every woman to live a life of wellness, self-discovery, and resilience. We aspire to create a world where Black women are celebrated, their voices are heard, and their mental and emotional well-being is prioritized, laying the foundation for stronger, healthier communities.”

What we do.

  • BLK Girl Space

We understand that healing is an ongoing process that requires, time, attention, and support. BLK Girl Space will create space for black women to engage in free monthly group therapy sessions. These monthly group sessions will allow black women to connect and express while sharing space with a licensed professional.

  • Ollie Lee Ford Scholarship

We believe that education is the key to success. We are dedicated to supporting graduating seniors into the next phase of their lives. Through this we will provide scholarships and mentors to deserving young women who are graduating seniors. Our mission is to empower and uplift bright young minds.

  • BLK Girl Festival

BLK Girl Festival is for women to obtain, share resources, while engaging in festival activities such as food/business vendors, listen to guest speakers, dance to live performances, and mingle with other black women in the space. This is the time to experience health and wellness with an exciting twist. Don’t miss out on attending BLK Girl Festival!
